The University of Cantabria organised the lecture series “Europe at the Crossroads” to mark Europe Day, within the framework of the Europe Week promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for International Relations and Strategy.
In this context, on May 7th, Associate Professor Marcos Fernández took part with a talk in which he shared his economic perspective on the European project and reflected on the main current challenges of European integration. He also explained how these issues are addressed from an academic research perspective through initiatives such as the GreenPaths Project and the JustGreen Chair.
The event brought together experts to debate the future of Europe, European identity, and the different scenarios for the evolution of the integration process, in a space for dialogue between the university and society.
