European Economic Policy

This course aims to help students understand how economic policy is designed and implemented within the European Union (EU), combining theoretical foundations with analysis of real policy challenges.

A key aspect of this understanding includes studying major EU strategies such as the European Green Deal. This is important because the course looks at how economic policy in the EU is increasingly shaped by sustainability goals, including climate neutrality, green growth, and the transition to a low-carbon economy.

They will be able to identify the main actors and interests shaping economic policy, understand how these have evolved over time, assess the consequences of EU economic policy, and evaluate its success using different approaches.

Integración Económica Europea

This course provides students with the analytical tools and available empirical evidence regarding the process of economic integration in Europe. It aims to train professionals capable of carrying out management, advisory, and evaluation tasks related to economic issues of an international, national, or regional nature, or within specific sectors.
